M/V Mersea is 180' long, and 37' wide.  M/V Mersea was once part of the U.S. Coast Guard fleet as the Papaw (click here for more history on 180' Buoy Tenders).  The MerSea is now one of our disaster response ships.  She is able to respond in the aftermath of hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, war, famine and other disasters around the world.Mersea pictured at sea along the way to Haiti. Beautiful weather conditions!

She is able to carry strategic emergency, healthcare and food supplies as well as medical staff and relief workers.  These personnel are able to address the primary needs of the victims and minister to their spiritual needs.   Our team can advise our Gulf Coast Headquarters concerning future needed supplies. In the event that ongoing assistance is required, our vessels, M/V Spirit or M/V Spirit of Grace are able to be prepared to load thousands of tons of appropriate food and other critical supplies to deliver to that nation in need.
